Taking place over one huge week, you can expect an exciting collection of film premieres, Q&A sessions, parties, a photo exhibition, and the opportunity to meet some high profile guest filmmakers from Canada.
This year’s Festival is set to include 20 new Canadian feature films and documentaries, many of which will screen in Australia for the very first time. Each film will be vying for the prestigious Audience Award for Best Film, chosen by viewers.
Offering a fresh perspective on the world and a welcome alternative to the Hollywood formula, Canadian films are perhaps world cinema’s best kept secret.
