Ascella Pure Wine vineyard is a Canadian Australian family owned business. Barb and Geoff Brown and their son Douglas, bought the largest mature organic vineyard in the Hunter Valley and launched Ascella Pure Wine.
Ascella has a full range of white and red wines, that are great tasting, and award winning. These include Semillon, Chardonnay and Verdelho, a White Blend, and Merlot, Shiraz and a Red Blend, as well as a Rose and sparkling Pure Vescence. The wines are made by the Hunter Valley winemaker of the year Liz Jackson. "We make our pure organically certified wines using only grapes from our 80 acres of secluded vines nestled under the Brokenback mountain range. We care about you and the health of our environment which is why we do not spray our grapes with any chemicals, pesticides, herbicides or fungicides".
